The extension is how Sleeng posts to Reddit. It uses the Reddit session already in your browser, so your password never touches Sleeng.
What it does
- ✓Posts only the comments you approved in Sleeng
- ✓Posts at the time Sleeng scheduled, one at a time
- ✓Checks the Reddit account in your browser before every post
- ✓Reports your karma so your account tier stays current
- ✓Reads public subreddit rules to score ban risk
- ✓Reads new posts in your target subreddits so Sleeng can find threads to reply to
- ✓Checks upvotes and replies on the comments you posted
What it never does
- ✕Upvotes, follows, or joins anything
- ✕Votes, messages, or comments on its own
- ✕Posts a comment you didn't approve
- ✕Sees or stores your Reddit password
Install
Up and running in four steps
- 1Install the Sleeng extension in Chrome.
- 2Log in to Reddit and to Sleeng in the same Chrome profile.
- 3Click the Sleeng icon in your toolbar, then Connect Reddit account.
- 4Approve a few helpful drafts. The 7-day warmup starts right away.
